Meet the Team:

Fraudin Advanced Chiropractic & Rehab

Upper St. Clair, Pittsburgh, PA

Dr. George Fraudin

Chiropractor (Fraudin Advanced Chiropractic & Rehab)

Dr. Fraudin was born and raised in the South Hills of Pittsburgh. He did his undergraduate work at the University of Pittsburgh and then completed his chiropractic studies at New York Chiropractic College, the only time he has lived away from Pittsburgh. He opened his doors in 1982, moving into our current location in 1988.

He gives lectures at career days and teaches the students to pick a career based on something you love doing. Luckily, he practices what he preaches- working with his hands and helping people. He has developed his practice based on good old-fashioned business principles. Patients in pain will be seen that day. He even makes house calls when someone is in so much pain that they cannot move.

Dr. Fraudin prides himself on staying current with Chiropractic practice. He spent three additional years (after chiropractic school), studying to become board certified in rehabilitation. He also has state of the art equipment and training to treat patients non-surgically for lumbar spinal stenosis.

He also enjoys public speaking when the topic is teaching others how to improve their health or eliminate pain.

He and his wife stay busy outside the office with their two sons and their families. His few spare minutes are enjoyed in his garage where he loves woodworking and rebuilding cars – again, working with his hands!

He has witnessed lots of wonderful moments in his 37 years of practice- the kids who stopped bed-wetting, the athletes who function to their best ability without the pain they came in with, the grandmas who can now reach the top of their head to fix their hair… His patients range in age from newborn to 110 ! He has the same smile on his face at 8 a.m. and at 8 p.m. Just ask his patients. Many of them still come periodically since 1982!

Dr. Benjamin Fraudin

Chiropractor (Fraudin Advanced Chiropractic & Rehab)

Dr. Ben has been with the practice since 2014. Dr. Ben is a graduate of New York Chiropractic College and holds a Bachelor’s Degree of Biology from Duquesne University.

Helping people live healthy pain-free lives is something that speaks to Dr. Ben. He believes that chiropractic care is the safest and most effective method to help others stay healthy, and mobile for their entire lives.

Dr. Ben has been a chiropractic patient for his entire life. He received his first adjustment the day he was born and has enjoyed the benefits of routine chiropractic care ever since.

Growing up he was very active and enjoyed playing sports year-round. With chiropractic care he was able to quickly recover from any injuries and never miss any playing time. He knew from an early age that he wanted to help others experience the same benefits that he had enjoyed his life with chiropractic care. Helping people be able to get back to their lives and activates is something that he really enjoys.

Outside of the office he and his wife enjoy spending time with their daughter and rooting for any and all Pittsburgh sports teams.

Soon Jung, MD

Pain Management Physician

Soon Jung, MD, is a pain management physician at Regional Spine & Pain Care

Dr. Jung is originally from the New York metro area. He graduated from the State University of New York Binghamton University before completing his medical education at SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, New York, in 2010.

He began his medical career as a neurosurgical resident at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School in Newark, New Jersey. After completing multiple years of training, Dr. Jung realized that, unfortunately, many patients continued to have chronic pain despite surgery, and during his time there, he became exposed to chronic pain management under the tutelage of Dr. Andrew Kaufman.

After seeing the positive and life-changing impact of helping someone alleviate chronic pain, he decided to pursue a career in pain management. Therefore, he made a career move and began his anesthesia training at the Westchester Medical Center. Upon completing his residency, he began his pain management fellowship training at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. After completing his fellowship in 2016, he became an attending physician at the Lehigh Valley Medical Center in Allentown, Pennsylvania. While there, he was in charge of the neuromodulation program and the intrathecal pump program. With the use of intrathecal drug delivery, Dr. Jung was able to get patients off oral opioids while continuing to treat patients who required opioids in a safe, controlled manner that was physician-controlled.

He is double board-certified in anesthesia and pain management. Because of his neurosurgical background, he brings a unique skill set not found in most pain management physicians to SEPA Pain & Spine.  He believes that every patient’s pain is unique and that treatment plans should be catered to the patient’s needs. He brings with him experience and knowledge in all areas of pain management, including medication management as well as minimally invasive procedures designed to treat chronic pain.

Dr. Jung now resides in the Blue Bell area and is married with three young children. He spends his free time combing the country for the newest and latest ways he can treat his patients. He feels blessed that he can truly say that for him, his work is his hobby.
